Everything you need after checkout, in one place.

Built for your real workflow

Custom orders come with extra work. Orderflow helps you handle it all.

Shopify records the purchase. Orderflow is for the work that happens afterward—customization, customer files, artwork approval, production stages, Ship by dates, and updates.

All the order details

See customer info, photos, customization details, notes, and special requests in one place.

Proofs and approvals

Create, send, and track proofs with versions, approvals, and revision requests.

Stay on schedule

Use Ship by dates, production statuses, and clear next steps on the working queue.

Keep customers in the loop

Send customer-facing updates with saved message templates and status communication.

Work more efficiently

Use statuses, optional rules, analytics, and a workflow built for custom products.

The work after checkout

The press is running. The order still needs a place to live.

Custom work happens at a machine, a bench, or a packing table. Orderflow keeps the Shopify order next to that work — photos, proofs, status, and Ship by — so the floor and the inbox stay on the same page.

A simple workflow for custom orders

  1. Blank ceramic mug waiting for a personalized design
    1

    New order comes in

Orderflow pulls in your Shopify orders automatically.

  2. Printed photos laid out next to a camera before production
    2

    Add customer info

Review details, collect missing information or photos, and organize what is needed.

  3. Multi-needle industrial embroidery machine with thread cones
    3

    Send proof and update status

Create and send proofs, track approvals or revisions, and move the order through production.

  4. Hands taping a shipping box after a custom order is finished

    Ship and keep them updated

Fulfill when the work is ready, and keep customers informed along the way.

A focused workspace

Everything about an order, right where you need it.

No more switching between tabs or searching through Shopify. See customer details, photos, proofs, status, Ship by dates, Customer Message, Internal Note, and activity — all in a clean, focused workspace.

  • Customer information, photos, and files
  • Customer Message and Internal Note
  • Proof Review with versions and approval
  • Status, Ship by date, fulfillment, and activity

On the floor, not just the desk

Check a proof, a photo, or a Ship by date from the press.

Orderflow is a real working queue on a phone. Open the order while the garment is still on the platen, approve a proof between colors, or see what still needs a customer photo before you pack.

  • Customer photos and files stay with the order
  • Customer Message and Internal Note stay separate
  • Ship by dates sit on the working queue

Automations

When an order sits too long, Orderflow can take the next step.

Custom work does not always move on schedule. An order can stay in Working on Art while you are at the press, packing, or answering someone else. Set the rule once: if it stays in that status for a number of hours or days, Orderflow moves it and can send the customer email already on the next status.

You keep working. Orderflow keeps watch.

One example of what automations can do

  • Order text matches — set a starting status from the product, tags, or other text. Text rules only run while the order is still on your first status.
  • An order stays in a status — move it after a wait you choose. If that next status emails the customer, the email goes out.
  • Shopify marks it fulfilled — move the order to a status you pick, when you turn that built-in rule on.

Build a workflow that keeps moving.

Quick update on your order

Hi Alex,

We’re running a little behind on preparing the artwork for your proof, and we’re sorry for the delay. We’ll send another email when it’s ready to review.

Sample wording — you write the real template.

Customer notified automatically

Example Orderflow rule: if an order stays in Working on Art for 2 days, move it to Proof Overdue and send that status email when customer notify is on.
